Традиционный легкоатлетический пробег проходил по трём дистанциям — 21, 10 и 3 с половиной километра. Отметим, что забег на 3 километра 500 метров проводился без учёта времени. Принять участие в соревнованиях смогли все желающие — всего более 600 человек.
В забеге на 3 с половиной километра участвовало порядка 400 спортсменов-любителей. И, несмотря на то, что время забега не учитывалось, были выделены трое мальчиков, финишировавших первыми.
Это Валентин Пуфель из посёлка Поляны, Сергей Хомколов из Советского и выборжанин Владимир Вотрин. В этом году спортсменов-профессионалов, участвовавших в забеге на 10 и 21 километр, заявилось намного больше, нежели прежде — 208 человек. В забеге на 10 километров абсолютным победителем, показавшим лучшее время, стал житель северной столицы Олег Карасёв. Среди женщин на этой же дистанции лучшей была его землячка Елена Гунделах.
В забеге на 21 километр первым финишировал Константин Кочкин из Санкт-Петербурга. Среди женщин лучшее время показала Анастасия Захарова из Светогорска.
Всем участникам соревнований вручили памятные сувениры. Победители и призёры по всем возрастным категориям награждены ценными подарками, а спортсмены, преодолевшие дистанцию в 21 километр, получили памятные медали.
